Elaine specialises in treating fertility issues, both male and female.
She studied at The London School Of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in the late 1980’s, qualifying in 1992. She has practiced acupuncture in Brighton since then, and at the Dyke Road Natural Health Clinic since it opened in 1999.
Elaine has a Masters Degree in Chinese Herbal Medicine and prescribes herbal formulas either in conjunction with Acupuncture or as a stand alone therapy.
Elaine has studied extensively as a post graduate in the field of Gynaecology and Infertility both in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
She is also a qualified Fertility Care Practitioner. Using a well-established charting system, she teaches women to track their menstrual cycles with a view to pinpointing times of optimum fertility, and looking for possible hormonal imbalances.
Elaine has a particular interest in Chinese dietary therapy and takes a balanced approach to helping people make changes with diet and lifestyle.
Elaine lives in Brighton, has four grown up children and two grand-daughters.
